Lance Finley

Lance Finley is the Director of Youth & Family Ministries for the Churches of God, General Conference. Lance is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and Winebrenner Theological Seminary. He is currently a Doctor of Ministry student at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in the Ministry to Postmodern Generations track. An ordained pastor with the Churches of God, Lance has served in numerous leadership and ministry roles within the church. Lance is married to the love of his life, Brenda and they reside in Findlay, Ohio with their children Carter and Molly. Drawing on nearly two decade’s worth of experience in youth ministry, Lance has a heart for helping the next generation embrace the kingdom of God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Having served as a volunteer with a parachurch ministry, a full-time paid youth worker, a part-time paid youth worker, a camp counselor, a Sunday school teacher, and a volunteer in a local church ministry; Lance understands youth ministry from a variety of perspectives and roles. With the goal of helping others fully engage in God’s redemptive mission through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Lance has a passion for helping youth workers and parents understand and engage the world of teenagers in relevant, genuine and meaningful ways.
