Become a Presenter

Benefit to the trainer:

1. Participate in a nationwide campaign of utmost importance to future generations.
2. Maximize your wisdom and experience by sharing it with others outside of your immediate faith community.
3. Help other youth workers launch long term parenting programs in their churches.

Benefits to the church:

1. Build strong families
2. Help families reach out to their community, sharing the gospel
3. Reposition the youth pastor as a helper to the entire family

Training

• To present a Real World Parents seminar you must attend 1 training event. (see training schedule)
• Training price is $199.
• Training will provide Presenter with materials needed to present a 3 hour Real World Parents presentation. Materials include a DVD of Mark Matlock giving the presentation, video clips to play at your presentation and a Presenter Notebook.
• After completion of training, you will be certified to present the Real World Parents seminar at any time beginning February 2009.

Scheduling & Promotion

• For maximum impact, a special Real World Parents kick-off scheduling will be required. Each presenter must schedule their first 6-8 presentations during the months of February, March and April of 2009. WisdomWorks will offer assistance, but we are relying on your networks to find sites for your presentations.
• WisdomWorks will provide a place at RealWorldParents.com to promote you, the presenter, to churches looking to have a RWP seminar.
• When you schedule a presentation, you will use our online system to allow you to charge or bill the church. This will also allow us to help promote your Real World Parents seminar date.
• Following the Spring 2009 launch, presentations can continue to be scheduled on an ongoing basis.
• Scheduling an event requires a $500 minimum payment to WisdomWorks ($250 honorarium goes to you, the presenter). This allows for 50 attendees and provides 50 Real World Parents Notebooks at $10 each. Additional notebooks can be purchased from WisdomWorks at a discount of $5.

Resources

• Resources, Real World Parents Notebooks and books, can be ordered online from WisdomWorks at a discounted price to sell at your events. You can then sell books at your presentation event at retail price.
• WisdomWorks will have suggested resource packages based on the number of attendees at your events.
• WisdomWorks will accept returns as long as the resources are in good condition.
• WisdomWorks will also be offering your attendees an online subscription to RealWorldParents.com that will provide additional ongoing resources.
• Each church that hosts RWP will receive a follow up curriculum the youth pastor, pastor, or youth leaders can use to engage parents further.
