One, I hated this movie. Two, I HATED this movie. Three… I think you get my point.
I though the movie was overly sensational to attract exactly that age range you are referring to 13-16, who like gory scenes and cannot see the deeper meaning within it. Looking to Hollywood for guidance in religion is like asking a dog how to use a fork.
Besides the pathetic plot - which looks as if it was written in the span of maybe an hour - the insipid characters - and the poor special effects (but still gross) - I would never allow my child to see this movie. It has no teaching value whatsoever, and although I commend you for attempting to drag some moral lesson out of it, I don’t believe you can justify it as education.
