Stress
Stress can come from many different circumstances. Here are some suggestions on handling it:
- The first place to start is to identify the source of the stress: family conflict, lack of sleep, bad grades, difficult relationship, a recurring sin, a death in the family, betrayal by a close friend, or something else.
- Pray and ask God for wisdom so you will know his will. Pray according to Colossians 1:9-14.
- Talk to a trusted friend or pastor to get support and encouragement.
- Get plenty of sleep. That will help more than you might think. At least it will help you think better.
- Eat well.
- If the stress continues and you feel hopeless, find a Christian counselor to talk to.
- And keep praying. God will give you his peace. The road to get there may lead through some steps of resolution.
