It is critical that teens and ESPECIALLY pre-teens see parents (both Mom and Dad) devoting time to prayer and being in God’s Word. Parents need to show them that this communion with God is critical to sustaining their walk. My wife and I have an advantage over many parents because all of our kids are homeschooled. Every school day begins with devotions and prayer. They have no idea that school days for many do not start off that way.
